World Health Day

Blue Bird High School Sector 16  Panchkula, organised a special assembly to mark the importance of World Health Day. Mrs Shveta Sharma spoke on the importance of developing healthy eating habits to stay fit and disease free. Students participated in various activities like Handwashing , healthy Tiffin and Eat Well - Stay fit to develop habits of healthy eating and to promote awareness about the value of physical and mental well-being.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY(2022-23)

To instil the leadership qualities in the students and keeping the tradition of the institution, new members of the students’ council were elected at Blue Bird High School, sector 16 , Panchkula and the investiture ceremony of the new student council members was organised on 25th Feb, 2022.The ceremony started with welcome speech and Prayer. The elected members were conferred with their respective badges and sashes by Director Ma’am, followed by the oath taking ceremony where they pledged to carry out their duties assigned to them with sincerity, and efficiency. The school atmosphere was buzzed with enthusiasm and pride. Monsoon Thakur and Urva Bhardwaj led the student council as the chosen head boy and head girl respectively.
Principal Ms.Vandna in her address congratulated the council members and encouraged them to put in their honest efforts for every endeavour and to become an inspiration for their juniors. With the flag held high, the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.

INTER HOUSE SCIENCE QUIZ

Science quiz aims to inculcate in the minds of young students a spirit of scientific enquiry, analytical thinking and provides a platform to the budding scientists for exchanging thoughts.

To celebrate the National Science Week, Inter House science quiz contest was held on 21 Feb, 2022. Students from classes VIII to X participated in the competition. Four students from each house were selected for the contest. It consisted of four rounds; questions were very creative and it seemed that the students had prepared well, as they enthusiastically participated and tried to answer all the questions. It was keenly contested event and the teams fought till the very end. Ultimately, Sheesham house emerged as the winner, followed by Palash house as the first runner up and Amaltas House secured the third position.

The event was successful due to the contribution of the science department under the guidance of the Principal.
