Fire Mock Drill

Blue Bird High School ,Sector 16 Panchkula Organised Fire Mock Drill to Enhance Student Safety , on April 18, 2026 Blue Bird High School’s Interact Club, “Prayaas ek koshish “in coordination with the Disaster Management Club, organised a fire mock drill at the school premises on April 18, 2026. The drill was conducted to equip students with practical knowledge and hands-on training in handling fire-related emergencies. Students actively participated in simulated fire scenarios, learning critical skills including proper use of fire extinguishers (PASS technique: Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep), Safe evacuation procedures and route mapping,Do’s and don’ts during a fire outbreak and Basic first aid response for smoke inhalation and minor burns. The event was supervised by trained disaster management coordinators and supported by local fire safety officials. Teachers guided students to designated assembly points, ensuring a smooth and realistic drill. School Principal Ms. Vandna Bhatnagar ,commended the joint initiative, stating, “Such drills are vital for building awareness and confidence among students. “ The mock drill concluded with a debrief session, reinforcing the importance of remaining calm and acting swiftly during real emergencies.

WORLD HEALTH DAY

A special activity was conducted in the school on 7 th April, 2026 to mark World Health Day. The programme aimed at creating awareness among students about the importance of maintaining good health and a balanced lifestyle. An informative speech was delivered by Dr. Amanjyot Ma’am, who highlighted the significance of healthy eating, regular exercise, and mental well-being.

A Healthy Tiffin Activity was also organized for the students of Classes 3 to 5, where they enthusiastically brought nutritious food items and learned about the benefits of a healthy diet. The activity encouraged students to adopt healthy habits in their daily lives.

WORLD ART DAY

The school celebrated World Art Day today with immense zeal and creativity. Students from Nursery to Class XII participated wholeheartedly, making the event a vibrant and memorable experience for all.

The campus was filled with colours and a unique artistic energy as students expressed their creativity through a variety of art forms. Each child explored and showcased their individual love for art, reflecting imagination, originality, and passion in their work. From colourful drawings by the little ones to detailed and thoughtful creations by senior students, the celebration truly highlighted the importance of art in nurturing creativity and self-expression. The entire school resonated with an inspiring artistic vibe, turning the day into a beautiful celebration of talent and imagination.

 

The event became even meaningful with the visit and appreciative words of Mrs. Bharti Of Bhama Academy Panchkula. She admired the work of each student and called it a great success, She encouraged the students and said that through art each one of us can express our inner feelings freely.
