BAISAKHI CELEBRATION

Students of Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and joy . Young learners participated in many fun filled activities like paper crumpling , finger painting, kite pasting and colouring. A unique and engaging activity stamping on corns was arranged, where children experienced imaginative play and teamwork.
Adding to the festive charm, all students came dressed in traditional Punjabi attires ,showcasing the rich cultural heritage associated with Baisakhi. The celebration was further enlivened with the selection of Mr. Baisakhi and Ms. Baisakhi, encouraging confidence and participation among students.A special assembly was organised on Baisakhi, beginning with a soulful hymn recitation. Senior Students shared the significance of the festival, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere.
The entire event created a joyful and lively atmosphere, making learning fun and memorable for the children while instilling cultural awareness and appreciation.
Har Ghar Tiranga(Independence Day celebration)

Blue Bird High School, Panchkula celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great zeal and exhilaration. Students participated in various activities and competitions under “Har Ghar Tiranga” 2025 and decorated school premise's and boards with Tri-colour flags, Rangoli competitions, Rakhi making competitions , letter writing drives for the soldiers and police personnels and national quiz on the Tiranga were conducted. Elevating the feeling of patriotism, the students of grade X-XII held a Tiranga rally. The school celebrated the red letter day by hosting a special assembly. The school choir sang Patriotic songs. The children recited Patriotic poems and speeches. Kindergarten and Primary wing pupils wore tricolor dresses, painted their cheek and face with tri-colour, decorated their rooms with national flags and pictures of freedom fighters and took selfie with their handmade tri-colour flag.
Principal of the school, Ms. Vandna, commended the combined efforts of the students and teachers. She urged the students to think of what this freedom really meant to each one of them. She highlighted the need to speak the language of affection and brotherhood to all around and encouraged the students to celebrate differences and reiterated the message that respect should guide their every action.
