"OUEVRE" Annual Art Exhibition

"Creativity at its best” Shines at Blue Bird High School, Sector-16, Panchkula.

“THE OEUVRE” our Annual Art Exhibition provides a glorified platform to our students to showcase their innovative work of creation and flaunts the novelty of their art work in different fields.

The OEUVRE is a unique opportunity for the all the stakeholders to witness, enjoy and appreciate the diverse and exceptional work created by the students across various disciplines. The exhibits prove the intellect and holistic growth of all the students.

Our Chief guest Mr. Kuldeep Mehta (Assistant Director of School Education Department, Govt. Of Haryana) graced this event by his presence and has a healthy talk with our students and applauded their creativity work.

Principal Ms. Vandna Bhatnagar expressed pride and appreciated students' for their work of creation and stated that the school exhibition is not just a showcase of projects, but it is a celebration of the process of learning, creating and experimenting in the fields of Social sciences, Hindi, English, Mathematics, Computers, Sciences and Art and craft. As these are not separate entities, but interconnected disciplines that inspire and inform each individual.

Earth Day

Earth Day, celebrated annually on April 22nd, serves as a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve our planet for future generations. As part of our commitment to environmental awareness and sustainable practices, Blue Bird High School, (A Senior Secondary School) is proud to announce its Earth Day initiatives for 2024. This year, under the Theme Planet Vs Plastic, our school took proactive steps to engage our students in various activities like, Handholding and planting of the sapling, handprint activity, leaf printing activity, poster making and role play to promote environmental consciousness and stewardship. Takeaways were also given to the students in order to make them aware to conserve water and electricity, save trees, save flora and fauna. School principal Ms. Vandna appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to create a world that thrives in harmony with nature.

Interact Club- Donation drive

The members of Blue Bird High School's Interact Club Prayaas - Ek Koshish , under Rotory Club Chandigarh Central RI DISTT - 3080 , committed to ,giving back to the community launched a donation drive of  collection of school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, pens, colours ,sketch pens, pencil boxes,  backpacks, water bottles etc. Students of all the classes were encouraged to participate in the noble drive by donating new or gently used school supplies. Students from all the classes came forward and a generous amount of articles were collected. They were sent at Maharishi Bal Ashram, Mohali for the underprivileged children.

The purpose was to foster a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and empowerment among students and they learnt these values by doing themselves.
