ANNUAL SCHOOL ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION – THE OEUVRE 2025

Students of Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula  organised their annual exhibition “The Oeuvre-25 “ the work of excellence and innovation of the students exhibited the integration of various art forms into academics. Exhibits showcased the creativity and innovations, out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills of the students. They were the visual story of the dreams and aspirations of budding scientists, mathematicians, writers and poets as they embarked on a kaleidoscopic journey of sight and sound.
The event was graced by chief guest, Mr Ravinder Kumar Sharma, Founder Director of Ravinder Sharma Art Academy and retired as Head of the Art History Department, Govt College of Art, Chandigarh, who praised the students' innovative exhibits, which reflected their hard work and dedication.  The school has organized a meaningful initiative, "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," where more than 500 saplings were distributed to parents, to foster a greener future and strengthen the bond between parents and children through a shared commitment to nature.  In a symbolic gesture of environmental stewardship, our Chief Guest planted a ‘Bael Patra’ sapling in the school premises to emphasize the importance of nurturing nature and promoting sustainability.
Parents enjoyed the artistic expressions of the young minds. Principal Ms. Vandna Bhatnagar addressed that the exhibition is a platform for our students to share their ideas and encourages them to communicate and learn from others. This event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students , teachers and parents.

Mock Parliament 2025 At Blue Bird High School, Sector-16, Panchkula

In the spirit of democracy and civic education, Students of Blue Bird High School Sector-16, Panchkula of grade VIII enacted and brought a replica of Indian Parliament. The topic of a mock parliament was “Disaster Management Amendment Bill 2024”. Around 40 students participated and created the look of a real parliament. During the discussion many important issues were raised like role of artificial intelligence in disaster management, climate change and situation during flood etc.
The leaders of the opposition raised many questions on the working of the ruling party on various policies and agendas. The ruling party tried to defend its government. The mock parliament provided students with a valuable opportunity to step into the shoes of legislators, debating critical issues that affect our society. It became a platform where they could express their opinions, develop public speaking skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the democratic processes. The experience left them not only well-versed with India’s democratic fundamentals but also brimmed them with newfound confidence in their public speaking abilities. School Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and said that this event proved to be a crucial step towards nurturing students responsible and participatory members of society.

"Blue Bird School bids farewell to Class XII"
The Management, Staff and students of Blue Bird High School bid farewell to the first batch of class XII. Filled with curiosity and zeal, the farewell ceremony was organized by the students and teachers of class XI. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments.
The school Principal, Ms. Vandna Bhatnagar, while addressing the students imparted valuable life lessons. She reminded them to embody the school's motto, 'Knowledge is Power,' and to uphold the values of honesty and truthfulness that they've learned within the Blue Bird High School community. She cultivated the spirit among students to become lifelong learners.
Mr.Vebhu Bhatnagar, Director of the School inspired the students to reach new heights. He extended his warmest wishes to the students as they embark on their future journey, encouraging them to keep the Blue Bird High School flag flying high.
The students enthusiastically participated in various cultural activities, fashion extravaganza, games, gifts exchange wherein Devansh Singhal and Komal Tanti were crowned as Mr. Blue Bird and Ms. Blue Bird respectively.
Ms. Pranchi of Class XII, delivered a heartfelt farewell address, recounting about her transformative journey at school. She thanked her mentors for helping her to discover her life's purpose and promised to return to her Alma-Mater.
The ceremony concluded with a dance session, and festive lunch, celebrating the Class XII students' journey and new beginnings.
