Inter-School Hasya Kavi Sammelan

The School hosted Hasya Kvai Sammelan in which about 15 team of various schools of Panchkula participated with amazing laughter filled poems. Sammelan was organized in Junior and Senior categories. Experienced judges Ms. Sheenu Dania and Ms Shashi Sharma did the judgement on the basis of mastery of the language, flow of the poetry, timelimit and presentation. ‘Thanedaar ki vyatha’, ‘Bharat’ , Bhrashtachar mahotsav’, ‘Netaji ki shikayat’ and ‘Policevaaley ki biwi’ poems were highly appreciated. The programme commenced with the prayer song. The whole programme left the audience into peels of laughter. All the participants were given participation certificates and sumptuous refreshment and the winners were awarded with trophies. The function concluded with the colourful dance presentation.


Gurpurab Celebrations

Gurpurab , the 550 Birth Grand Anniversary of the founder of the Sikh Gurus, Guru Nanak Dev ji, was celebrated with religious fervour in Blue Bird High School. For the whole week , daily during assembly period, shabads were chanted and incidents related to his life were narrated. On the concluding day, special assembly was organized during which speeches highlighting his life history and teachings were delivered. The little ones of Nursery wing attired as panch pyaras chanted basic mantras of Sikh religion. Teachers in their respective classes too discussed about the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The Principal, Mrs. Vandna Bhatnagar wished the students Happy Gurpurab and sermonized them to follow the path shown by Shri Nanak Dev Ji.


Air Force, 86th Birthday

To let the students, have the knowledge of the Air force, its 86th Birthday was celebrated in the school. To mark the occasion, students were given a talk explaining how Air force guards the Indian Sky during war time and how the officers of Air Force help people during the time of need, may it be a fire break, floods or any other kind of emergency. Air force pilots reach at places where no other can reach. All the students made paper Aeroplanes and enjoyed flying them in the air and saluted Air Force warriors.
