ANNUAL SCHOOL ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION – THE OEUVRE 2025

Students of Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula  organised their annual exhibition “The Oeuvre-25 “ the work of excellence and innovation of the students exhibited the integration of various art forms into academics. Exhibits showcased the creativity and innovations, out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills of the students. They were the visual story of the dreams and aspirations of budding scientists, mathematicians, writers and poets as they embarked on a kaleidoscopic journey of sight and sound.
The event was graced by chief guest, Mr Ravinder Kumar Sharma, Founder Director of Ravinder Sharma Art Academy and retired as Head of the Art History Department, Govt College of Art, Chandigarh, who praised the students' innovative exhibits, which reflected their hard work and dedication.  The school has organized a meaningful initiative, "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," where more than 500 saplings were distributed to parents, to foster a greener future and strengthen the bond between parents and children through a shared commitment to nature.  In a symbolic gesture of environmental stewardship, our Chief Guest planted a ‘Bael Patra’ sapling in the school premises to emphasize the importance of nurturing nature and promoting sustainability.
Parents enjoyed the artistic expressions of the young minds. Principal Ms. Vandna Bhatnagar addressed that the exhibition is a platform for our students to share their ideas and encourages them to communicate and learn from others. This event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students , teachers and parents.

Mock Parliament 2025 At Blue Bird High School, Sector-16, Panchkula

In the spirit of democracy and civic education, Students of Blue Bird High School Sector-16, Panchkula of grade VIII enacted and brought a replica of Indian Parliament. The topic of a mock parliament was “Disaster Management Amendment Bill 2024”. Around 40 students participated and created the look of a real parliament. During the discussion many important issues were raised like role of artificial intelligence in disaster management, climate change and situation during flood etc.
The leaders of the opposition raised many questions on the working of the ruling party on various policies and agendas. The ruling party tried to defend its government. The mock parliament provided students with a valuable opportunity to step into the shoes of legislators, debating critical issues that affect our society. It became a platform where they could express their opinions, develop public speaking skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the democratic processes. The experience left them not only well-versed with India’s democratic fundamentals but also brimmed them with newfound confidence in their public speaking abilities. School Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and said that this event proved to be a crucial step towards nurturing students responsible and participatory members of society.

Interact Club- Donation Drive

The Interact Club, Prayaas -Ek Koshish , of Blue Bird High School, Panchkula, under the banner of Rotary Club Chandigarh (Central) donated over 900 books to the Public Library of Pinjore on 24 May,2025 Saturday. This generous contribution aimed to enhance the library resources, promote literacy, and inspire a love for reading among community members of all the ages. The donated books included a diverse collection of fiction, non-fiction, children literature, educational textbooks, and motivational titles in English , Punjabi and Hindi. The initiative was driven by students, teachers, and volunteers who collected and sorted books .The handover ceremony was attended by library officials, Interact Club members and school faculty.

Education is the foundation of progress. By donating these books, we hope to empower readers and ensure that everyone has access to knowledge.
